The Western Cape Accommodation, Aquila Private Game Reserve has 2 different types of lodging, Luxury and Premier. Both types of cottages are eco-friendly, with en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, ceiling fans, fireplaces, mini bars and tea/coffee making facilities. Aquila also has a honeymoon suite that features a sunken rock jacuzzi.
There are 21 Luxury chalets at Aquila, each chalet can sleep two. These cottages are semi-detached and feature a unique coal stove. There are 5 Premier chalets, one sleeping 4 while the rest sleep two. These chalets are each privately situated on the hillside and have patios with scenic views.
Aquila has 2 public lounges, one having DSTV. There is also a library and a curio shop. Outside is a saltwater pool along with a poolside bar. The Boma Restaurant can seat up to 180 and you can enjoy a traditional meal made by an international acclaimed chef. They will also cater to any dietary requirements you might have. After your meal you can meander to the Cigar Bar and enjoy a night “cap.”
