These knowledgeable rangers not only point out the big game, but also teach guests interesting facts about antelope species, birdlife and local African folklore.
Wildlife that can be seen on your Western Cape safari holiday includes Wildebeest, White Rhino, Lion, Elephant, Kudu, Zebra and Giraffe. Guests may also visit the recently established Cheetah Breeding Centre where you will gain insight into the plight of this endangered species. Also visit the Reptile Centre, and learn more about snakes, Crocodiles and other cold-blooded creatures.
The more active guests may explore the mountain bike and quad bike trails on their Western Cape safari holiday. The latter is a guided trail which winds through scenic mountain passes and valleys. There are also horse back trails for experienced and novice riders, and 'lead' rides for children.
Conferencing at Garden Route Game Lodge:
Garden Route Game Lodge's conference centre provides the ideal setting for conferences, bush breakaways, team building and group incentive weekends. The centre is built from stone and thatch and is air-conditioned. The facility accommodates up to 60 delegates and is equipped with all the necessary AV equipment. The nearby breakaway lapa is used for refreshment breaks and has a lovely view over a waterhole.

The Garden Route Game Lodge offers a beautiful setting for your wedding. Staff will take care of arrangements, including flowers, a vicar, photographer, hair and make-up, wedding cake and the Honeymoon suite.
