The reserve hosts more than 20 species of game including Giraffe, Kudu, Gemsbok, Wildebeest and Eland. There is a magnificent variety of bird life with nearly 200 different varieties recorded on the Reserve.
This bush camp hideaway consists of 7 chalets, a lounge/conference centre, bar and boma surrounded by rocky crags and the Nuweveld Mountains.
The chalets in the bush camp were designed and built by the game farm owner, who exclusively used local poplars and stone for their construction. The rustic décor is completed by slate floors, hand made furniture and wood finishes.
With style in mind, each chalet of the bush camp sleeps four with an en-suite bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and your private braai (barbeque) facility. Each chalet has its own private parking area and is comprehensively furnished including fans for summer and heaters for winter.
The night sounds of the Jackal calling create the ambiance of Africa and make this a nature lover's paradise. The 7 A-Frame chalets, built from stone, timber and thatch offer the ideal accommodation.
Child Policy: Children and well-behaved pets are welcome at Ko-Ka Tsara Bush Camp.
